We’re looking for a curious, dependable, and detail-oriented web development assistant to support a growing web development agency. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their tech career who wants hands-on experience implementing real-world WordPress sites and integrations.

You’ll help build WordPress sites and connect tools that support lead generation, email outreach, scheduling, and client onboarding. No advanced tech skills are required — if you’re organized, tech-comfortable, and eager to learn, we’ll teach you what you need to know.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement website designs in WordPress and Divi
  • Connect signup forms to email lists
  • Set up & test Integrations between websites, email, scheduling tools, forms, etc.
  • Test workflows to ensure everything works smoothly
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and project needs
  • Update website content
  • Add opt-in forms and confirmation pages
  • Troubleshoot issues or bugs (we’ll guide you!)
  • Keep things tidy, organized, and documented
  • Record your processes for easy reference by the team

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone comfortable using web-based tools and eager to learn more
    If you can set up a Discord server, you’re going to have no problem learning the tools we use. If you can use Doordash and ChatGPT and are excited to peek behind the scenes, you’re fine. If you hate all things digital, and don’t own a computer, probably not.
    • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through with reliable communication and self-management in a remote setting
      We’re glad to answer questions and provide guidance, and we expect you to get your stuff done without someone standing over you. Clear, reliable communication is a must – if you need help, don’t be afraid to ask. If something went wrong, let us know and we’ll work together to fix it.
      • Willingness to receive feedback and grow your skill set
        We’re not going to tear you down, and we don’t expect you to get it right the first time. But if we point out where you went wrong, we expect you to course-correct in the future.
        • Interest in supporting mission-driven, women-led businesses

        Bonus Points For:
        • Familiarity with WordPress and the Divi theme/builder
        • Experience using no-code integration tools, email marketing tools, scheduling platforms, or project management tools (even if just in personal projects)

          2. We’ll schedule a virtual interview if we think you’d be a good fit. 
          3. If all goes well, we’ll ask you to complete a small (2-4 hour) paid project based on the actual work you’ll be doing. This gives you a peek into the real-world work at Disentangled Tech, and gives us a good idea of how you’d approach the job. 
          4. Final interview to review your test project.
