When I quit my corporate job in 2004, nobody ever told me there was another way to be successful. I just knew I couldn’t spend my life trudging that path.
I want something better for you.
So I’m building the resource I wish I’d had back then.

What’s this about anyway?
I’ve got big plans, but right now Visionary Founders’ Academy is an experiment, and I’d like you to join in.
We will meet virtually twice/week for 6 weeks to explore what it really means to start and run your own business.
On Tuesdays we will have a group coaching session, where we’ll explore a specific topic around entrepreneurship.
On Thursdays we will have open co-working. This is optional, but a great time to get stuff done and get specific support. Think of it as office hours and co-working combined.
In between, we will have a dedicated Slack group to share resources, support, and community.
Week 1: Dreams & Visions
Exploring what a life (or a season) of entrepreneurship might look like. What might the work be? What do you want, and what are the costs of this choice?
Week 2: Small Plans
We’ll build a 1-page business plan that covers the only three things you absolutely need to have a business.
Week 3: Experiment & Validate
Holding ideas lightly, we’ll begin to experiment so that we find and solve problems early.
Week 4: Iterate
Taking what we learned through our experiments, we will adjust and experiment some more.
Week 5: Choose
You always have a choice, and at any time you have the power to make a different choice. What will you choose to do next?
Week 6: Next Steps
As we complete our cycle, we look to the future and decide what the next steps are on the path. We don’t need to know what to do in 3 years, just what to do tomorrow.

Let’s get a few expectations out of the way before you enroll:
This is a beta test. While I’ve got a pretty solid idea of what we’ll do, this is the first time I’m running this particular program. That means things may change partway through.
I will do my absolute best to make sure you get as much value as possible from the program. In exchange, I ask three things of you:
- That you actively participate as much as possible. If you can’t make a call, watch the recording and do the activity on your own.
- That you provide honest, constructive feedback. This will help me shape the final program into the best possible version it can be.
- That you work with me to resolve any problems that may arise.
